ZIO Patch: My Experience With Early Removal - OpenSIPS Trunking Solutions

I haven't had many issues with sensitive skin before, and had no major issues with the zio patch.

A little bit of itching, but it was often easy to forget i was wearing it, and removal was easy.

Jun 26, 2001 · i just removed my zio patch and sent it in by mail to be read and reported to my doctor.

This is much improved over the holter monitor of the past.

I wore the patch for 2 weeks.

My zio patch was normal (all sinus tachycardia plus some isolated pvcs and pacs and a few runs of 3 pvcs, but apparently not anything that ever crossed the border into svt), i think.

The removal process went easily, as my kit included a little adhesive tape remover pad.

If you have a lot of itching due to the device you can remove the monitor.

Wearing it for a lesser time may reduce the chances of detection of abnormalities but since you have already won it.
