Mycourses content and data removal

The mycourses (brightspace by d2l) content experience is undergoing a redesign to improve navigation, usability and overall user experience.

Currently, georgia gwinnett colleges vendor, d2l, is focusing development efforts on the new content experience (nce) and not on the classic content tool.

Mycourses (brightspace by d2l) is the learning management system jointly supported by information technology at ggc and the university system of georgias information technology services geogiaview.

Please review the recommended technology for mycourses for additional information.

Perform a system check before you log in.

Students should review the student guide prior to getting started.

Faculty may review mycourses central for learning more about mycourses and its integrated tools and view a calendar.

Faculty must take action to archive mycourses content and data before june 16.

As such, this data should be managed as described in apm 10. 9 student education records management and ferpa policy.

Information technology (it) has made changes to the default mycourses course navigation experience and updated some mycourses integrations.
