The forum would change every so often i think until this one was settled.
There was whale tail. com and whale tail talk and possibly one or two others.
Some of the old threads and the site were amazing.
As many people will know, this site has basically had three incarnations:
The original whaletail. com site and forum, its successor the whaletailtalk site and now the newest, this place.
Was just wondering what ever happened to the founders of the original whaletail site, did anyone know them or ever keep in touch with them??
My 76 apollo tri hull came with a hydrofoil when i bought it.
I've seen quite a few videos that they're garbage and actually hinder performance and top speed.
After watching so many videos saying they're a scam and do more harm than good i'm about to take it off and see if i notice a difference.
Does anyone have any thoughts on these aluminum plates?
I have one on a 14 ft bayliner with a 50hp force that i recently bought, and am considering taking it off.
It's easy to see that it's very effective as far as keeping the boat planed out, but if i do say a slow figure eight, the prop comes right up out of the water.
