I love nearpod as a means for introducing new topics to my students.
It definitely augments the ways in which i can introduce a topic or skill.

Nearpod can be used with any lesson and subject, making it a very versatile site.
Students can actively participate, teachers get valuable feedback, and there's a good content library.
Content filters could be better, and it can take time to get familiar with the features.
I use nearpod for big picture things like introducing vocab or when we're reading a story together.
They really get into the time to climb feature, which is a game built into the system.
I break up the story line by line and ask them comprehension questions during the game.
Nearpod works well more consistently with younger students.
It can still work the older they are, but itll stop being effective if you go to that well too often.
