Why is imvu seemingly phasing out the classic client, when it's what's been around the longest and what i assume most of their user base is used to?

Imvu classic hasn't had an update in ages.
Imvu desktop beta still looks like trash.

Imvu desktop will be the replacement.
There is no set time this will happen.
