Sc4 is my favorite and also has aged really nicely and has more mods so i would say it's more fun to play in 2021 than sc3000.

Neither of them are any more or any less suited to newcomers if you ask me.

The only way youll earn money at the start of the game is through upgrading your housing units.

You dont have to keep on buying utilities and phf buildings to satisfy a huge population.

Earn money by bulldozing and rebuilding houses not for upgrade.

How the game is played.

This is a simulation game where you play the roll of mayor for a fledgling city that you create by designing and laying out streets, zones, and standalone buildings (known as ploppables) in an attempt to build the greatest city possible given the limitations of the terrain.
