I recently moved to sf after contacting 24 different places, 3 were scams.

2 of those scams were from craigslist, i gave up on that site and used apartments. com, zillow. com, & ziprent.

Craigslist has the scams but also the deals.

The cheaper apartments i've found are never in zillow, but if you can't be bothered to sift through the scams then zillow is fine.
