Otis additionally allows an offender search by scars, marks or tattoos.

The offender tracking and information system, or otis, may be used to discover an offenders whereabouts, criminal history, and expected release date.

You may get this information online by visiting the michigan department of corrections website, the otis database, or the michigan otis website.

A search result will provide information about any offender who is, or was, in a michigan prison, on parole or probation under the supervision of the mdoc, has transferred in or out of michigan under the michigan interstate compact, or who has escaped or absconded from their sentence.

The offender tracking information system (otis) contains information about prisoners, parolees, and probationers who are currently under supervision, or who have been discharged but are still within three years of their supervision discharge date.

Information about prisoners and parolees who have discharged from their sentences and who are not being currently supervised by, or under the jurisdiction of, the mdoc is not contained on otis.

Mdoc will change your otis profile only after you get your court documents fixed.

To fix a mistake on a court record, contact the court that filed the conviction and sentence.

You may need to file a motion asking the judge to make changes to your judgment of sentence.
