Take the screws out of the bottom of the base.
Unplug the wire from each pinch bar and remove the bars from the plastic slots.
While cycling, if a potential pinch condition is detected, the globe will stop and reverse direction for 2 seconds.
I have 3 lr3 units that are 3 years old, and have never had to replace the dfi sensors or the pinch detectors (which i do have on hand).
