Dec 10, 2015 · honestly, i've watched tokyo ghoul and i really didn't think much of it.

It didn't give me a feeling of suspense, thrill, excitement or anything special.

The plot didn't go in very deep.

It's not overrated, that would imply it had something good in the first place.

It's just a pretty poor series overall.

Read the manga, the anime is trash, although i droppe the manga awhile.

Tokyo ghoul is one of the most hyped tiles of summer.

Unless you are the kind of person who considers masterpiece anything that is like elfen lied (full of violence and gore), it is a show of.

Re sucked / mid and the pacing was terrible and i loved the first tokyo ghoul.

If i was rating both series id give the original a solid 8/10 and the sequel a 5/10 i read.

I've heard that anime is a complete screw up compared to the manga, but don't take my word for it, because i never cared about it.
