Silo supplies are dispensed within the coop/barns, you have to extract from there and place it on the bed/bench inside.

The silo in stardew valley is a must have for any farmer who keeps animals.

It saves time storing hay and keeps your animals fed, especially during the winter when grass is no longer available.

Building a silo early in the game is setting yourself up for success and keeping your farm running smooth.

There's room for three silos vertically with room for a path to grandpa on top, and i put my coop and barn there and walled in from the left side of the greenhouse for grass.

A nice little animal corner out of the way.

That's the trouble with any buildings really.

But you can building more and demolish the original if you want.

Yeah, you don't really need multiple silos, but it does let you go longer between refilling from the hay stored in a chest.

I did the hillside farm (or whatever the one with the minefield is) this time around and ive been regretting it heavily.

You can't remove the hay straight from the silo;

Only from the coop/barn, and only when the feeding tray is empty.
