Jan 9, 2024 · after updating and resetting as per instructions i am attempting to set up the zero offset.

Check the cr touch’s wiring;
Check the cr touch’s plugs;

I’m having issues with mine as well except when i go to set the z offset after finding it, the print head moves when adjusting z offset for some reason.
Dec 27, 2022 · if auto home works as described above, the cr touch is set up and working ok.
Run auto leveling, it should complete.
I just switched from a failed bl touch to the cr touch and had the same issues.
I got all the offsets set and the the extruder was running in reverse.
I decided to go back to the bl touch firmware.
Jan 22, 2024 · what you should instead be doing is using the control panel on the printer to access the z offset menu and adjust the offset whilst printing rather than touching the bed.
So below the setting for z offset is a setting to save, a setting to load, and one to reset to factory or something.
Do that reset first and then set the z and save
