When an active shooter is in your vicinity:

Evacuate whether others agree to or not.
Leave your belongings behind.
Help others escape if possible.
Prevent others from entering the area.
If evacuation is not possible, nd a place to hide where the active shooter is less likely to nd you.

Have an exit plan.
Move away from the threat as quickly as possible.
Create as much distance between you and the threat as possible.
