Are face reveals a good idea?

Somewhere i've heard that showing your face while talking statistically keeps people at watching your video and grabs attention in thumbnails.

This whole time we weren't showing our faces, but last night we finally uploaded our first video with us on camera.

He originally wanted to keep us off camera because some youtubers have.

If you're comfortable with having your face out there it doesn't really matter too much.

If you've got a good webcam and think it could add to your video you could do that.
