The grading system, for me, is a nightmare.
You have the a) score for the assignment and b) score in grades linked to the assignment.
Grades don't mean everything of course, i just find it sad how in these situations if you cheat you're essentially rewarded and if you don't you're punished.
The entire system incentive's cheating right now, as it almost makes no sense not to cheat (given that many students seem to think their gpa holds more weight than what they actually learn).

Tas and instructors can see this on the classlist beside your name.
When this is done, students access content offline that is still marked as unviewed within the content.
I have had professors in the past think i was not viewing content when i downloaded the entirety each day instead (to view offline).
I have heard that d2l is difficult to handle, and i've seen many professors get confused by it.
I am just curious if d2l makes it difficult to replace files that have been posted, or if there might be some other reason why they don't bother updating their documents.
During office hours my prof hinted at all the things they can see you do over bright spaces.
Everything from the tabs you have open, your ip, to where your mouse is.
I'm a little creeped out by this ngl.
Desire 2 learn was made with the idea to make classroom work easier.
Instead, it just added work to the material students already have to do in class.
D2l can be helpful in some situations.
